I know many of our Checkered Flag fans are looking for a fun family or couple’s activity for the weekend. And, although it's a bit chilly, you may want to head outdoors.
As part of Norfolk Botanical Garden’s February Fun Month, bicycles will be permitted on the paved paths throughout the month. Also, admission to the garden has been reduced to only $5 for February.
And, this Saturday, February 2nd, Norfolk Botanical Garden is kicking off February Fun Month with the Big Bike Bash.

The Garden is partnering with East Coast Bicycles for a fun-filled day that celebrates all things bikes! Join us for a variety of biking activities.
East Coast Bicycles will bring some of their most unique bikes.
Take a bike tour through the Garden with local bike guide, Cindy Lewis.
Enjoy a special presentation series that will include Getting to Know Your Bike, Bike Adventures and Improve Your Riding Skills.
Bike Safety Demonstrations
A Bike Rodeo
The 7 Cities Rickshaws
A Bike Parade
and much more!
The Big Bike Bash is the kick off to February Fun Month where, all month long, guests can ride their bikes through the Garden from 9am-5pm daily. During February, admission to the Garden will be reduced to just $5 per person.
